Material Testing:-
– Materials Testing includes inspection of part’s chemistry, physics, geology and biology that deal with the physical, chemical or biological properties of materials.
– It is usually considered an applied science in which material properties are checked or crossed checked to meet the requirements.
– Materials testing mainly includes sub-branches as Hardness Testing, Metallurgical Testing, Tension & Compression Testing, ultrasonic testing, MPI, Eddy Current Testing etc.

Metallography :
– Metallography is the study of the physical structure and components of metals, typically using microscopes.

– Ceramic and polymeric materials may also be prepared using metallographic techniques, hence the terms ceramography, plastography and, collectively, materialography.
